DGA Philosopy

Our purpose is to establish and maintain marketplace superiority, enjoy efficiencies in the operation of our dental practices which means more profits, and perpetuate the ownership of our dental practices  beyond the time when we cease active clinical practice (and thereby benefit from future practice profits).  We can provide the practice transition systems, marketing systems, and practice management systems that can help your dental practice thrive.

  • The DGA proposition is that the most efficient, profitable and enjoyable form of dental practice is not just the group practice, but also a grouping of group practices.  The intelligent networking of multiple dental practices gives the participating dentists access to state of the art management and clinical techniques.
  • Having ownership interests in multiple dental practices allows the dentist to benefit from the mutual efforts of others and participate in a dynamic portfolio of dental practices, diversifying the dentist’s current and future sources of income. 
  • DGA’s structure, while having many of the attributes and benefits of a dental practice management company, features ownership by the participating dentists and is designed to allow the dental practice to remain in control of not only the dentist-patient relationship but also the personal rewards sought by the dental entrepreneur.

Opportunity

Dental Group Alliance is seeking to expand our network and invite other like minded dentists to join our coalition of dental practices.

  • Dental Group Alliance Phase II is being formed as DGA Partners LLC to take advantage of opportunities that exist within the private dental practice market.  It is DGA’s belief and experience that a significant number of private practices, though providing adequate care, are operated less than optimally from a business perspective. By implementing DGA’s proven management, marketing, and customer service programs the private dental practice can realize significant revenue and income growth while reducing expenses.  This strategy can be implemented both in practices where the current practicing dentist(s) wish to transition out of their practice or in practices where the current practicing dentist(s) wish to remain and take part of the growth opportunities.

  • In either case DGA provides the current owners of the practice with an opportunity to retain a portion of the equity in their dental practice that has already been created and develop an ownership interest in a more diversified portfolio of dental practices creating an opportunity for additional passive income as a result of ownership equity in DGA Partners LLC.

Objectives

  • DGA Partners LLC seeks to add 6 to 12 private dental practices to the current coalition whose annual revenues, prior to joining the DGA Partners LLC coalition, exceed $600,000.

  • DGA will implement proven systems in order to increase practice revenues by 50% or more over three years while improving the dental practice operating margins and net incomes through increased efficiencies and economies of scale and systems enhancements.

 

Market Segment

  • While there is opportunity in the health maintenance organization (HMO or managed care/pre-paid dental plans) arena, DGA focuses on indemnity and private pay lines of business.  These business opportunities are best developed with private, local branding using DGA’s proven marketing tools and strategies.

  • Practices partnering with DGA Partners LLC will maintain their current brand, assuming that brand represents a positive market image.  By utilizing a positive local brand as the centerpiece of its marketing efforts DGA expects to develop its indemnity and private pay business to a point that they represent 100% of practice revenues.  This creates a significant competitive advantage for the local practice since these dental practice models command a premium price above the HMO focused dental practice.

The Dental Marketplace Today

  • We have experienced a rapid increase in competition in the health care marketplace.. The laws of the marketplace will eventually dictate that only organizationally strong and marketplace superior dental practices will thrive.

  • Therefore to enhance the success of our individual practices, DGA provides a structure whereby independent dental practices can join forces for the purpose of establishing superiority in the dental market. Dental Group Alliance, in light of the laws of competition, believes that only through establishing marketplace superiority will all participants maintain and enhance the values of private practice ownership  including the perpetuation of the clinical techniques and patient care philosophy they believe in.

  • Marketplace superiority, as defined by Dental Group Alliance, is having captured the critical mass of the market share as the result of providing superior patient care and treatment, consumer services, consumer satisfaction, and consumer conveniences over all other competitors or potential competitors; all of which are delivered at the best price in the highest quality health care package possible.

  • Dental Group Alliance believes that strategic marketplace positioning requires the addition of other dentist-owners who are committed to the same practice and patient care values, and who are willing to share in the rewards as well as the risks and responsibilities of ownership in a market aggressive and consumer services oriented organization.
